We’re throwing open our doors and issuing a genuine country welcome and offering a real authentic experience.
We call it Cully Fest and it’s a celebration of all that’s great in our culturally and historically rich country of Australia. In fact, it’s the first Outback and Aboriginal Folk Festival of its kind in Queensland… a festival where visitors of all ages will be encouraged to participate, explore, learn, listen, smell, taste and touch everything uniquely and culturally Australian.
The annual Cully Fest 2017 Toowoomba festival, will announce an eclectic mix of performers from legendary Aussie rockers, to the country’s best indigenous performers so stay tuned to our Cully Fest Facebook page where all the latest updates will be announced!
We have added something no one expected, something new to Cully Fest that will be the cherry on the cake. The 2017 Cully Fest will now host the action packed, National Finals Rodeo NFR. Expect to be wooed by some of the nations best cowboys and cowgirls riding incredibly tough livestock across a wide array of categories at this Toowoomba festival and rodeo.
The Cully Fest team are wrapped to have added another unique outback event to the line-up. Rodeos are a great display of outback culture, showcasing on of the outback's favourite gatherings. The National Finals Rodeo NFR will take place on the 17 November at the Toowoomba Showgrounds and tickets are cheap, real cheap. Admission to the National Finals Rodeo only is a nifty $20 for adults, $5 for children and $50 for a family. If your looking for an even better deal, check out the three-day all inclusive festival passes. Get in fast to secure a super early bird ticket and save an astounding $100 per adult.
The National Rodeo Association (NRA) have been showing their support throughout their events towards raising breast cancer awareness and will continue to do so at Cully Fest. Once again in 2017 all competitors will be flaunting pink. Tough Enough to Wear Pink provide these western events with a platform to promote awareness and raise much needed funds. Breast Cancer has been devastating for those in the rodeo community and has touched the lives of many western families and as a result, the NRA are doing there best to lend a helping hand.
Show your support and we hope to see everyone wearing pink and backing an important cause. A percentage from proceeds from the National Finals Rodeo NFR will go towards the National Breast Cancer Foundation and put straight into vital research. Breast cancer is the most common life threatening disease among women and claims eight lives everyday.
Kids aren’t forgotten with a huge line-up of activities from live gigs to Laser Tag and Hip Hop classes in fact we have built a full kids festival alongside the adult festival which will feature a high profile kids band in 2017.
Please come and join us we can't wait to meet you and help you connect with the true soul of the real Australia!
