The National Finals Rodeo which is the National Rodeo Association's richest and most prestigious rodeo series in now part of this great Toowoomba festival, Cully Fest.

Friday night 17 November 2017 at Toowoomba Showgrounds you can expect thrills, spills and more high flying action as these elite rodeo champions man, woman and beast treat you to a spectacular show at one of Australia’s most impressive rodeo events.
As part of Cully Fest Outback & Aboriginal Folk Festival the National Finals Rodeo NFR will showcase some of the countries most talented riders and livestock across a range of thrilling categories.
Each November contestants battle it out for a top 12 finish to qualify for the National Finals Rodeo NFR with qualification based on season points from the National Rodeo Association standings (NRA) that year.
The National Rodeo Association (NRA) will bring a wide range of events to Cully Fest including: Bull Ride, Saddle Ride, Bareback Ride, Steer Wrestling, Rope and Tie, Team Roping, Barrel Race, Breakaway Roping and Steer Undecoating plus a range of junior events.
Cully Fest and the National Finals Rodeo NFR go hand in hand as rodeos are synonymous with outback culture. There have been many spectacular past and present outback and Aboriginal cowboys and girls making the partnership a perfect fit. A number of Toowoomba region cowboys and cowgirls will be vying for national titles. The animal athletes on show will also be represented by local stock contractors with bucking stock of the year contenders.
The action will kick off at 6pm Friday 17 November 2017. Rodeo ONLY admission is $20 for adults, $5 for children and $50 for family.
